Once upon a Time

At the western banks of the Elbe River a network of small rural communities forms a county. I enter a town that looks like this.

I walk down lanes that remind me how different life must once have been. The locals obviously make an effort to conserve the atmosphere of another time, down to the details.

I leave town and arrive at the edge of the forest.

Through the trees sun light filters on autumn leaves.
